"From June to October 2022, under a contract with Roscosmos, a space survey of foreign territories of the BRICS countries was carried out in accordance with the requests received, the partners were provided with Russian data for a total area of more than 85,000 square kilometres. Processing of foreign data obtained to assess the condition of forest ecosystems in the western part of the Altai-Sayan region was also carried out. In the process of cooperation between the organizations, a mechanism for exchanging remote sensing data between the space agencies of the BRICS countries was being tested," said Ivanov, whose words were quoted by the RKS press office on Wednesday.
